Hello! I'm Susan Ardila, the founder and lead tutor at Math Wizdom. With over 12 years of experience in education and a passion for helping students succeed, I’ve dedicated my career to providing top-notch, individualized tutoring services.

Personal Note

I started Math Wizdom because I saw a need for personalized, flexible tutoring that truly meets the needs of each student. When I’m not tutoring, you can find me exploring new teaching methods, enjoying a good book, or spending time with my family.

Education

2014-2015

University of Texas

In 2015, I completed my Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Math Education K-12 at The University of Texas, achieving a perfect 4.0 GPA. Throughout my graduate studies, I conducted in-depth research on accommodating children with autism spectrum disorder in general mathematics classrooms. This advanced degree not only honed my expertise in math education but also deepened my understanding of inclusivity and personalized teaching approaches.

2010-2011

Texas A&M University

I earned my Bachelor of Education in Interdisciplinary Studies with Summa Cum Laude honors from Texas A&M University in 2011. During this time, I also served as the Vice President of Kappa Delta Pi. This degree laid the foundation for my teaching career, equipping me with a strong educational background and leadership skills.
